About Samantha

Hi, I'm Sam! Caring for children has always been part of my life, both personally and professionally. I grew up helping care for my brothers, including my oldest brother who has cerebral palsy, which shaped my patience, empathy, and ability to meet kids where they are. I also helped raise my much younger brother and am now a very hands-on aunt to my two nieces, Ellie (almost 2) and Charlotte (9 months). Professionally, I worked full-time as a literacy tutor and teacher assistant in a Pre-K classroom and ran an after-school program. I'm confident with routines, early learning support, and creating calm, engaging environments. I love listening to kids' imaginative storytelling and encouraging creative play and emotional expression. I'm an art lover currently applying to grad school for art therapy, and creativity and connection are at the heart of my caregiving style.
