About Samantha

Hi parents! My name is Samantha and I'm originally from California. I've lived here in Virginia for almost 7 years now however I'm still enjoying getting to know the area! I have a degree in Early Childhood Development and Im finishing up my Masters in Social Work. I absolutely love working with kids and have been doing so for the past 20+ years! I have experience working with kids ranging from NICU newborns to 18+. I'm also a licensed foster parent and have extensive experience working with kids with behavioral issues, kids on the spectrum, kids with special needs and who have experienced trauma. I'm very hands on and love to do different activities when caring for children whether it's going on a fun outing to the park, water park, the zoo. Getting messy with some fun arts and crafts projects, cooking a fun new recipe, reading and playing board games, completing school work, and everything in between.
