It's quite silly, but I started babysitting after my high school principal asked me to watch her kids. She wanted to coach a soccer game and needed an extra pair of eyes. I was so stunned, since I'd never taken care of someone else's kids, other than my 4 younger siblings. But, I'm so thankful since I learned again how exciting it is to spend time with kids. It was truly a blessing in disguise. Now that I'm off at college, I still give them a quick call and check in on them. As they were my first ever kids.
