About Salma

Caring for children has always been my passion. I have my B. A. in psychology, and ECE units. I've worked with kids in many roles, teacher, nanny, gymnastics instructor, and counselor. These experiences have given me a strong foundation for understanding children's unique needs, personalities, and ways of learning. As a mother myself, I also bring a personal perspective that helps me connect with families. Having a child with ADHD has helped become more compassionate, resourceful and creative in my approach. I love encouraging imagination through reading , pretend play, and creative activities. I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified and have been for years as that was part of my requirements for past jobs and have first had experiences dealing with critical situations both with children and adults. I'm excited to bring my experience, energy, and my love to kids to a family that values kindness, compassion, and respect. I can provide resume upon request.
