Caring for children has always been my passion. I have my B. A. in psychology, and ECE units. I've worked with kids in many roles, teacher, nanny, gymnastics instructor, and counselor. These experiences have given me a strong foundation for understanding children's unique needs, personalities, and ways of learning. As a mother myself, I also bring a personal perspective that helps me connect with families. Having a child with ADHD has helped become more compassionate, resourceful and creative in my approach. I love encouraging imagination through reading , pretend play, and creative activities. I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified and have been for years as that was part of my requirements for past jobs and have first had experiences dealing with critical situations both with children and adults. Salma is literally the best! She has been such a special person in our lives, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. She is one of those rare people who are naturally caring, patient, and loving, and children are instantly drawn to her. She has such a warm and calming presence that makes both kids and parents feel comfortable right away. She’s got a great sense of humor and just really relatable. What I appreciate most about Salma is that she truly cares. She treats the children she watches like they are her own, always making sure they are safe, happy, and well taken care of. She is dependable, trustworthy, and someone I have complete confidence in. Knowing your child is with someone who is genuinely loving and attentive is priceless, and that is exactly who Salma is. Beyond being an amazing caregiver, she is just a beautiful person inside and out.
