Seeking patients who just need short periods of assistance vs someone staying for long periods. One hour minimum. For more than 30 years, I've had the privilege of working with older adults as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. Throughout my career, I've helped patients regain strength, improve mobility, recover from illness and injury, and maintain as much independence as possible. Just as importantly, I've learned that kindness, patience, and genuine companionship can make all the difference in someone's day. Although I stepped away from full-time therapy in 2024 to pursue work-from-home, I realized I missed what I enjoyed most--the relationships I built with my patients. Caring for seniors was always the most rewarding part of my career, and I'd love the opportunity to continue making a positive difference by providing one-on-one, in-home care.
