My career has taken me everywhere, as did my training; from hospitals to pediatric home care, from babies to adults, back to babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I remain in contact with a client who is now a late teens. I watched and cared this unique person along with his special needs grow from a toddler to early teens. I interacted with the Physicians and school teachers. I contributed to the IEP through elementary school. I was taught life lessons by this family I will never forget. I understood the family dynamics of living and coping with special needs issues. I have patience, I love to get down on the floor and play with the children. I like to do their homework with them, not for them. I like to teach. I am Australian by birth. I was raised in England completing high school and Nursing school there.
