About Saleice

Saleice is the best caregiver we could have hoped for. She is beyond exceptional. Saleice has cared for my 88 year old father with alzheimers for the past 18 months. She is his best friend. Saleice is very loving and dedicated, but is also professional, experienced, prepared, intelligent, resourceful, creative and self-motivated. Saleice takes better care of my Dad than I ever could. She takes him out on outings that coincide with his interests and ability level. On the way, she plays music that he loves. She is prepared for any situation, and carries things with her such as his medication, hand sanitizer, tissues, clothing, and things I wouldn't even consider! I have learned from her expertise. My dad loves animals, and Saleice researched and found a local therapy goat farm to bring my dad to. It is free! When with Saleice, my dad is always happy, laughing, and joking (to the best of his ability). Saleice will take initiative in his care, such as she will cut his nails if she feels he needs it. She makes sure he is well fed and hydrated. When dad naps, Saleice does housework, keeping his space clean. When he's awake, she has him participate in the housework, to the best of his ability. When he is tired, she keeps things quiet and allows him to nap. When he is anxious, she removes stimulus. She will take my dad on short shopping trips, where they buy necessities such as cleaning supplies and tissues, snacks and drinks. You will be lucky to have her.
