About Saira

Hi! My name is Saira and I am currently a senior at DePaul University. I grew up in the surrounding suburbs of Chicago and have spent a lot of time exploring the different parts of the city ever since I started school three years ago. I'm passionate about volunteering, community service, health and fitness, and education. I currently am the president of a community outreach organization that provides young students with essential critical reading, thinking, and writing skills, which we later utilize to become agents of change within their communities. I have always had a passion for education and positive change, and I believe that this is essential with children. Although I do work with young students regularly, I have extensive nannying/babysitting experience both from high school and throughout college - in doing so, I think it's essential to provide children with a fulfilling and fun environment.
