I'd describe my personality as positive and go with the flow. I have structure while understanding there are times I can't control the moment but I can navigate it. I stay calm under pressure while acknowledging the urgency level. I love caring for seniors because I often crave the matureness, stories, and wisdom my elders have to share. I believe in protecting and nurturing seniors in their vulnerable state while they still have so much wisdom to offer in so many ways. I'm looking for a job that allows me to connect in a way that I can care for the individual as their needs require. I started caring for seniors over 10 years ago. I have worked in various settings including Hospice, Assistant living, and home settings. In my spare time, I garden, hike, travel, read, and connect with my family. To sum me up is to know I love life. I believe there is life in all things and with that I appreciate everything around me. My skills include patience, understanding, and compassion.
