About Sage

Welcome! I consider myself a warm, playful, and dependable childcare professional with a background in early childhood education, environmental education, and nannying. I currently work full-time as a preschool teacher at a private natured-based preschool, guiding children as they learn through play, creativity, and hands-on experiences with the natural-world. I'm comfortable with newborns, infants, and young children alike. I can assist with pickup/drop-off, snacks/simple meals, light tidying around, errands, and pets if needed. In my spare time, I thoroughly enjoy camping in my hammock, recreationally kayaking flatwater, and reading fantasy novels! I am seeking consistent weekday afternoon care, approximately 4pm-8pm, to ideally build a lasting relationship with the family. I'm particularly interested in working with one child to provide focused, individualized care in a predictable routine.
