About Sage

I started working with special needs and/or behavioral children five years ago and after seeing the positive impact in not only the children's lives but my own as well, I never looked back! I currently have five years of professional experience in schools caring for special needs children ranging from 4-22 years old. I would describe myself as patient, kind and considerate. I also love supporting children's interests and learning, as I am a licensed teaching assistant in NY state. Because of this, I am comfortable caring for multiple children at a time, up to 4. I am happy to assist with basic household duties such as cooking+meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, carpooling, errands, ect. When it comes to household rules I will always follow your lead, as I acknowledge that every household is different and has different behavioral expectations. This goes for communication methods as well, I am happy to use whatever method is preferred by parents. I look forward to hearing from you!
