About Sadie

I'd describe my personality as patient, creative, and easygoing! I like tutoring because I love how teaching others often teaches me new things as well! I take joy in connecting with others through learning. I'm looking for a job that is flexible while I complete my MS in education. I'm hoping to work with families who have a deep respect for learning, like I do! I started tutoring as an Instructional Assistant in an alternative education program 7 years ago. Since then, I've held educational positions teaching all ages, from toddlers to high school students. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, being in nature, and playing with my dog (or any dog!) One thing you should know about me is that I am Montessori trained, which means I highly value student-led learning that is guided by the child's interests and developmental needs. I try to meet children where they are at, both emotionally and academically. My skills include early childhood language, math, and social studies.
