About Sadie

Hello families! I am a recent new mom looking to be able to prioritize spending time with my baby as well as work. I have a bachelors degree in elementary education and work experience in both Waldorf and Montessori education. I've worked with children of all ages but in the most recent years have primarily worked with ages 15 months - 3 years old. I like working with kids because I think there is so much joy in watching children discover the world around them. The reason I loved Montessori so much was because of the independence children were given to discover the world around them while we as the guides got to watch and encourage that in many ways within the classroom. I started working with kids when I was 16. I began working with children at the Waldorf preschool that I myself had gone to. When I was 17 I traveled to a summer camp to nanny the directors daughter and there is where I discovered my passion for teaching and decided I would pursue a degree in education.
