About Sadie

My name is Sadie, and I am a UC Davis graduate, former bus driver, zookeeper, and research professional. I've been a childcare provider since I was a teen and love working with kids as much as I do animals! I am a highly responsible, safe, and trustworthy sitter but your kids will love how fun and silly I am. I'm incredibly interactive with kids whether it's playing, reading, telling stories, crafts, outdoor activities, or even sneaking in a little learning. I do practice basics like facilitating and modeling manners, kindness, and sharing, as appropriate for age(s) and your family's preferences. I believe positive reinforcement, honesty, and empathy are the best practices when working with children. I am happy to help with homework, tutoring, cooking/meal prep, housekeeping, and pet care as needed, and I am a very safe driver with a reliable 2022 Mazda if you need help with transportation too. I do charge a minimum of $30/hr.
