In my past experiences, I have worked as a PASS worker where I worked mostly on ADL's with young children and adolescents. We would work go on community outings to work on social skills and own personal goals as well. Another experience of mine has been working as a PCA for a young child with a neuromuscular disorder. I have experience using a communicative device, self care routines, feeds via Gtube, meal preps, administering medication, driving to doctors appts, as well as transfers. I am passionate about caring for those with special health care needs. My past experiences have led me on to pursue a masters degree in occupational therapy. My past experiences have been so impactful on my life and I am so grateful for them. I would be happy to get recommendations from families I worked for.
