About Sabine

Hello! My name is Sabine, and I'm a CU graduate; I graduated with a 3. 8 GPA and Dean's List recognition. While I studied Visual Arts, I've always had a strong love for learning, communication, and helping students build confidence in their academic abilities. A lot of my experience with tutoring began naturally at home, helping my two younger brothers with studying and schoolwork throughout their childhood. One is now in college, and the other is preparing to enter high school. During my tenure at Columbia, I volunteered in local Harlem elementary and middle school classrooms, helping students stay focused, understand assignments, and build stronger study habits. Important qualities I possess as a tutor: patience, attentiveness, and creative. I understand that every child learns differently. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them feel more confident, supported, and capable in the learning process.
