About Saara

I'm looking for a job that I can grow with. I am happy to do short term stints as well as one off babysitting jobs but I would love to work consistently with a family or families. I started working with kids when I was 16. For the last few years I have been working as a teacher for Harford County Public Schools. I have taught 7th grade English as well as Pre-K and kindergarten. I have several years of experience working with children who have special needs such as autism and Down syndrome. In my spare time, I like to read and spend time with my family. My favorite thing to do is see movies in theaters but for the most part I am homebody. One thing you should know about me is I love working with kids and am big on open communication with parents. My skills include, patience (especially working with special needs friends). I am an excellent cook and have experience both running a restaurant and teaching cooking classes. I am very adaptable and highly organized.
