About Ryan

Ryan worked with us for several years, helping care for our pack of small dogs, our home, garden, and the many moving parts of our lives. Her role was dynamic, and she was wonderful at it. We first began working with Ryan when we had a very senior pack of four dogs with significant medical and behavioral needs. Ryan cared for them five days a week, prepared their meals, administered medications when needed, and became an incredibly important part of their daily lives. As they aged and passed, and we eventually became ready for a new pack, Ryan was there again—helping us raise, train, socialize, and manage five puppies. Five young dogs come with very different, and sometimes competing, needs. Ryan balanced those needs thoughtfully and efficiently and cared for our dogs as though they were her own. Ryan also stayed overnight when we were out of town and helped keep our household running by handling errands, preparing lunches, and helping keep the house clean and organized. She was extraordinarily versatile, but above all, she was an exceptional dog care provider. We would still be working with Ryan today if her relocation had not taken her away from the area. I have operated a multi-location pet care business for nearly 20 years, so I understand the difference between adequate pet care and truly excellent care. Ryan is compassionate, communicative, careful, capable, and reliable. She earned our complete trust with animals who, at different stages of their lives, required everything from complex senior care and medication management to the patience and consistency needed to raise a house full of puppies.
