About Ryan

Hi! My name is Ryan, and I've spent the last decade as a tutor for both academic subjects and private music lessons. I was born and raised in NYC, and I am a proud graduate of the NYC public school system. I began tutoring after graduating high school in 2015, and quickly found that it was something I loved to do. I have extensive experience working with students who experience ADHD and other learning differences. I find it deeply fulfilling showing students that they can succeed in areas that they might not expect. I believe that with proper guidance and encouragement, every student has potential to succeed in every subject! One of my favorite parts of tutoring is figuring out different ways to help students get interested in specific subjects. In my spare time, I love to play guitar, cook, read, and spend time in nature.
