I have a deep love for caring for people with special needs and find it truly rewarding to make a positive difference in their lives. I approach every individual with patience, compassion, and respect, always striving to understand their unique needs and preferences. My most recent experience was working with someone who had cerebral palsy and was nonverbal. Through this role, I learned the importance of alternative communication methods, such as gestures, facial expressions, and assistive technology, to help them express their wants and needs. I also assisted with daily living activities, provided mobility support, and ensured they felt safe, valued, and included in every aspect of care. This experience strengthened my commitment to providing individualized, empathetic care and reinforced how meaningful it is to build trust and connection beyond words.
