About Ryan

Making a real difference in someone's life is what drives me and is fulfilling. For over five years, I've been privileged to support children & adults on the autism spectrum and personal care for my senior uncle. My approach is rooted in patience, compassion, understanding, fun, and a friendly demeanor. Creating a comfortable, fun and safe environment is essential to me. I prioritize those things as well as meeting whatever goal(s) is set. I communicate openly with families, providing verbal updates (or their preferred method of communication/updates). I'm experienced in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion or agitation and more. I have certifications in CPR, First Aid and CPI. I am willing to assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, tutoring, meal prep. I do not currently have a car but if there's local places, am willing to do activities. When I get a car, I'm willing to run errands and take clients to appointments.
