Hello! I am a stay at home mom available to provide safe, loving care for your child. I've reached the bittersweet part of my job - my 2 littles that I've been caring for since they were babies are going off to school now so I have open availability for new families. I have four daughters who attend school during the day so am able to offer care in my East Amherst home. I have a BA in Psychology from UB with an extensive professional background working with children and am able to provide excellent references. I also have years of experience working with children and families on a personal level ages newborn and up. I'd be glad to provide all of my experience, background, and references to serious requests. I have reasonable rates and am available 24/7. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to set up a meeting. Thank you!
"We're going to Miss Ryan's House!?" has been a common phrase of excitement from our M over the last ~3 years. There are multiple reasons you should absolutely consider Ryan, with some of the below just being a sample: 1) Ryan provides a safe home, with lots of fun activities and games. The basement and backyard have been literally transformed into areas meant for any child. Ryan also would take her on walks when the weather was nice, throw on the sprinkler in the summer, take her to the playground nearby, make crafts (including around the holidays), or play in the snow. 2) Ryan and her entire family treat our daughter like one of their own. Her daughters (and Nash / "Dude", as M calls him) are amazing human-beings, and we hope to stay in touch as M goes to school shortly. 3) This was a perfect situation for our family's needs. We are two working parents, with my schedule not always the same. Additionally, we didn't want to send M to a 'standard' daycare where she would be one of tens of kids and the staff would turnover frequently. With Ryan, we had these major needs answered and more, as she is very flexible, communicative (even sending photos of M throughout the day), and provided a social environment with another girl there approximately M's age + also getting to play with Ryan's daughters. Many times, we would message Ryan to see if M could stay longer given various circumstances - she was always there for us. 4) Ryan understands each child has their own needs and schedule as they grow up into tiny humans. With M going through multiple schedule changes as she grew up, Ryan was on-top of the changes (naps, bottles, food intake, diapers / pull-ups / potty training, etc.) and let us know how it had been going. 5) Our daughter loves the food and snacks at Ryan's house! 6) More importantly, Ryan clearly has had an impact on M's personality as M is a well-mannered toddler that is very respectful to other kids and adults. Could not recommend Ryan enough - we will miss seeing her every day. Don't miss out on a wonderful & loving environment to send your child.
