About Ryan

Hi! My name is Ryan. I rescued a 6-week-old 6 lb puppy from the Golden Valley Humane Society. She was so calm and sweet. I picked her up and knew right away she was the one. Through out the puppy stage, the golden years, and when she was diagnosed with bladder cancer at age 8 years old, she was right by my side. Everybody commented on our special bond we shared. We walked everywhere together and I enjoyed every moment of it. When she got sick the University of Minnesota gave her 2 months to live, but we found her help at Iowa State University Oncology. We got another year together. I'm not ready to commit to another dog yet, but I love dogs so much! I would love to meet new dogs and go for long walks. I am very well trained by veterinary oncology with medication and gentle supervision. Samantha's leash has been hanging on her hook for over a year now, and I would love to grab it again sometime.
