About Ruth

I worked for my pastor's 80-year-old mother with dementia for 4 years until her daughter retired. She is now taking care of her mother full time. I have an excellent letter of recommendation. I took care of housekeeping, grocery shopping, cooking, doctor and hair appointments, showering, dressing, giving medication, engaging her with activities such as puzzles, games, reading, outings, and scheduling other caregivers when her care became 24 hour care. I took care of emailing family and caregivers with weekly schedules and communications regarding her appointments, so family and other caregivers would know what the doctor said and what the concerns were. I am patient, alert to safety issues, kind and gentle with those I care for. I have attended Alzheimer's conferences to learn more.
