About Ruth

Hello! I am an experienced nanny with over 15 years of child care experience. I have nannied for seven families with children ranging from 3 months to 12 years old. I have also worked in church daycares and managed two after school care programs. Having also worked in the book business for a long time, I am a firm believer in no television and lots of reading with children. Time outside for creative play is also a huge part of my day as a nanny. I am very consistent with children but also allow their schedules to bend for special needs. Having dogs of my own, I am very good with pets. I keep the house neat and clean so you will not return home to a mess. I can prepare meals for the children and also for the family if you so desire. I am a calm, level headed and intelligent caregiver who loves children. I am still in contact with most of the children I have cared for over the years and recently babysat for the twins of one of my former kids!
