We hired Ruth as a part-time nanny for our 8 month old baby girl this spring and couldn't be happier with her help. She has been a joy to have in our home, and we would highly recommend her to other parents! :) Ruth is very sweet and gentle with the baby and actively follows cues to assess her needs for sleeping, playing, and eating. She was able to pick up a lot of new skills very quickly and adjusted to our family's preference and style for doing things with baby. Ruth promptly communicates any issues and is unafraid to ask questions if she is unsure how we want something handled. This has helped us feel extremely comfortable and confident having her care for our baby. We are moving to daycare to help our baby build socialization skills, but will definitely be asking Ruth to babysit as our baby loves spending time with her. For families with pets -- Ruth also has been great with our dog and two cats, which can be especially tricky while managing a young baby!
