I have been working in childcare ever since I was young. From baby sitting positions starting in middle school, and even earlier when helping my mom with my special needs little brother. Since then I have had 7 years of experience working for daycares and nannying for families. I love to spend time outside every day, and being from Montana, I am used to dealing with a large variety of weather. I don't let a little bit of cold or rain stop us from having fun. I also love buckling kids up and taking them to activities, whether that be lessons and practice, or fun outside the house; like the library, swimming, or whatever else the area has to offer. Beginning June 17th, I will begin living in University Place, Washington. I am excited to continue my career in child care, and hope you will consider me for the position

I highly recommend Ruth as a fantastic babysitter. Ruth took care of our daughter from the time she was 10 months old until she was 20 months old, and we couldn't have been happier with her. Ruth is incredibly responsible, kind, and caring. She's also very knowledgeable about child care and took initiative in tasks like trimming our daughter's nails or making sure to put sunscreen on her when they went outside. She was always prepared, making sure to pack extra clothes, diapers, snacks, and water for their outings. Ruth made sure our daughter got plenty of outside time, taking her to parks, for walks, to the library, and even to the trampoline park. We trusted her completely, even letting her drive our daughter in our car for their outings. Ruth was also excellent at preparing healthy meals for our daughter and didn't need any guidance. Beyond childcare, she was a huge help around the house, doing dishes, tidying up, and folding laundry. She was a great communicator, always keeping us informed. She occasionally would also watch our 4-year-old daughter and handled the task of watching both kids gracefully. She was fun and engaging, setting up art projects and other activities for both kids. Overall, Ruth was an invaluable asset to our family, and both of our daughters adored her. Any family looking for a reliable, loving, and proactive babysitter would be lucky to have her.
