About Ruth

My experience in caring for the elderly is derived from my personal experience. I cared for my grandmother while she lived with my family and assisted her with daily living activities such as bathing, getting dressed, transportation to doctor's appointments, companionship, etc. I have also cared for my father recently, he has kidney disease and I took him to his dialysis appointments 3 times a week. I have a sense of compassion and empathy toward the elderly and strive to provide care and comfort to the best of my abilities. My academic preparation and experience as a Speech Language Therapist I developed a high level of patience and tolerance regarding clients with different levels of physical and mental limitations.
