Hello, my name is Ruth, and I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from UNM. I have experience as a kindergarten and preschool teacher, as well as experience with older kiddos, ages 6 -12, in an after school program. This was through the Bernallio County Family Literacy Program. My experience with children is also personal, as I have three grown kids. I really enjoy watching kids learn about the world. Their excitement is contagious! I tend to turn experiences into mini lessons, but fun ones, depending on the engagement of the individual child. The lesson could be social developmental, or knowledge based, but always fun! My experience as a teacher in the early childhood setting has really enriched my own life.
