About Ruth

Ruth is a great Supplemental Instruction (SI) leader and an asset. As an SI Leader Ruth is expected to attend her assigned class, take thorough notes, and hold three pre-planned peer-facilitated study sessions (SI sessions) each week. Ruth has spent two semesters leading SI sessions for an international relations course here at Virginia Commonwealth University. She takes direction well and completes all job related tasks to the best of her ability. As a peer leader she is reliable, well-prepared, and well-informed. During Ruth's SI sessions she exhibits strong interest in the subject matter and working with peers. Ruth is able to successfully guide sessions of diverse college students, varying in age, on a weekly basis. She also does a great job of submitting all of her administrative paperwork on time and correctly on a weekly basis. Ruth's ability to successfully complete a rigorous undergraduate program while working and participating in extra-curricular activities indicates her commitment to reaching her goals. It is my belief that Ruth is a great candidate for this position.
