Ruth was very easy to communicate with. We were able to set up a video chat and arrange her to come care for my two children in my home pretty quickly after our initial contact. My 4 year old warmed up to her very quickly which does not usually happen. She really put in the effort and care to get on his level and find something that interested him. She brought small gifts for both of the kids which really broke the ice. She jumped in and helped with chores when they were occupied. I really wanted to find someone with enough experience where I didn’t have to tell them what to do or how to multitask while managing kids. No one has looked after my children other than my sister and in-laws and this was a great first step for me. I would not hesitate to recommend her for caring for children. It is obvious that she is wonderful mother herself. She is a bright and positive person that I hope to use for regular part time care once we get back in town.
