About Ruth

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in English, Art, History, and Study Skills. I hold a graduate degree and maintain certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). My approach centers on creating a supportive environment where I adapt strategies--from visual aids to interactive discussions--to match your child's unique learning style. I prioritize clear communication with families to ensure we are aligned on progress and goals. By breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and celebrating small wins, I help students build the confidence and critical thinking skills necessary for long-term success. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I look forward to partnering with your family to make learning an enjoyable and rewarding journey.
