About Ruth

Ruth was a tremendous blessing while caring for my wife during end stage Parkinson’s disease. She is energetic, positive, creative, supportive and deeply caring and contributed immeasurably to my wife’s comfort during this very difficult and challenging period. Ruth is an expert in safely managing transfers from bed to commode or shower with wheelchair, walker, cane or gait belt. When my wife had rare periods of near-normalcy, Ruth provided companionship and pleasant one-on-one company for her on outings around our neighborhood and when just sitting on the porch enjoying good weather. She suggested timely and innovative changes to the care protocols that always resulted in improved wellbeing and comfort for my wife. Ruth was extremely sensitive to my wife’s physical and mental condition and needs and treated her with utmost dignity and skill as the disease took its course. I trust her judgment, commitment and integrity and highly recommend her for anyone who wants the best possible care for their loved one.
