About Ruth

I am a 59-year-old mother of five grown children. I am friendly, caring, outgoing, and enjoy working with people, reading, music, cooking, gardening, games, crafts, and puzzles. Certified in food safety and CPR/First Aid. My mother lives in assisted living. I provide some care for her, take her to doctor appts, and coordinate care with the facility staff. I think it's important for seniors to be able to stay in their home setting as long as possible. In the past four years, I worked for six senior clients with physical disabilities, dementia, and Alzheimer's, providing help with activities, dressing, bathing, PT exercises, housework, transportation, errands, and yardwork. Two of these jobs are still ongoing and very part-time. I am seeking a similar part-time job as a Home Health Aide. I can be flexible with hours. I can provide companionship, personal care such as bathing and grooming, help with meds, meal prep, cleaning, laundry, sewing, reading, errands, and yard work.
