Kya is an incredible nanny and a truly special person. We hired her full-time to care for our six-month-old daughter, and she stayed with our family for a year, until our daughter started daycare. During that time, Kya played an enormous role in our daughter's growth and development. She guided her through important milestones, from eating purees and transitioning to solid foods to participating in educational games and even learning "safe falling" techniques. Kya has a strong background working with children and is always thoughtfully focused on supporting their development in age-appropriate and engaging ways. She kept our daughter active and curious by taking her on outings to museums, gardens, children's gyms, music classes, and story time at the library. Kya was always fully engaged and present. In fact, one mother at story hour was so impressed with Kya's interaction and attentiveness that she asked if we would be interested in starting a nanny share with her. While it wasn't the right fit for our family, it was an incredible compliment and speaks volumes about the impression Kya makes. In addition to providing exceptional care, Kya prepared our daughter's meals, did her laundry, and always kept baby-related areas tidy and organized. She was extremely reliable and wonderfully flexible whenever we needed her to stay late or help with an occasional date night. Most importantly, our daughter absolutely adored her. Every morning she would wave excitedly and run to greet Kya. When it was time to say goodbye, she was heartbroken, which only reinforced how deep their bond had become. Thankfully, Kya still spends time with our family on occasional evenings and weekends. Kya truly became part of our family. As a nervous first-time mom, there was no greater gift than knowing my daughter was safe, loved, and thriving in her care. We trusted Kya completely, and she exceeded our expectations in every way. Any family fortunate enough to have Kya care for their child will be incredibly lucky. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
