About Rumi

Hi! I'm Rumi, an 18-year-old soon-to-be Penn State student with CPR and First Aid certification and several years of babysitting experience, including working with toddlers and children with special needs. I'm passionate about creating safe, fun, and nurturing environments where kids feel valued and supported. Energetic, compassionate, and flexible, I enjoy helping children learn, grow, and build confidence while forming trusting relationships with families. My top skills include patience, creativity, and adaptability, which are especially important when working with children with special needs. Outside of childcare, I love music, concerts, reading, spending time with loved ones and my cats, shopping, and relaxing at the beach. Families can expect me to bring positive energy, reliability, and a calm, fun presence to every day. I'm excited to continue growing in childcare and making a meaningful impact on children's lives.
