About rumana

Hi, I'm Rumana. For 14 years, I've cared for children and seniors, and it's work I truly feel lucky to do. With children, I've supported kids with autism, ADHD, and developmental challenges-helping them build confidence and independence at their own pace. With seniors, I've cared for adults living with dementia, memory loss, and stroke recovery, always trying to keep dignity and companionship at the heart of it. I'm certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED, with training in dementia care and de-escalation. I speak English, Hindi, and Bengali. More than anything, I try to notice what needs doing and simply do it, and to treat the people I care for the way I'd want my own family treated.
