About Ruby

Hi! I'm Ruby, a 20-year-old rising junior at Hollins University with a lifelong love of animals. I've had dogs my entire life and cats for most of my life, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. For the past six years, I've pet sat for friends, neighbors, and family, and I also worked professionally as a pet sitter with a company in the Roanoke area. I have experience with dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, and other farm animals from growing up on a farm. This summer, I'm also interning at the Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center, where I've gained hands-on experience caring for native wildlife. I'm dependable, patient, and treat every animal like my own. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, medications, or lots of love and attention, I'll make sure they're happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.
