About Ruby

Hi! My name is Ruby. I'm 26 and living in Hansville, WA for the forseeable future. I started babysitting when I was 13, and have worked with lots of families and kids over the years. Whether it's one-off jobs or consistent care, I adore being part of the lives of children and being a reliable support system for all kinds of families. I have experience spending time with kids with Downs syndrome where I provided care for a wondeful 11-year-old with Downs for two years and spent most of my time with him during the pandemic when he stopped attending public school. I have worked in daycare settings with groups of kids, and had consistent jobs with just one child, and have all kinds of experience with baths, bedtime, and taking kids to the park/playdates etc. I am happy to provide references and letters of recommendation. Childcare is, in one of my opinion, one of the most rewarding and important jobs a person can have, and I would be honored to be considered for your family.
