About Ruby

Caring for children quickly became a passion for me as the oldest of three siblings, both of them being significantly younger than me. I've been fortunate to be able to help my family- especially my single mother- with my middle brother who is on the autism spectrum along with a few other learning disabilities. With child care experience in my home, I bring a patient and friendly approach to childcare. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time between the ages of newborn to middle school ages. I enjoy engaging with kids in outdoor games, puzzles, and educational activities. I'm also happy to help with some light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and always make sure to keep clear communication with parents through their preferred method. After a fun filled day, I hope your kiddos want to have me back!
