About Ruby

My name is Rugiatu, commonly called "Ruby." I am a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with 18 years of experience in pediatric and geriatric nursing with various patients and their families in the home setting. I am highly skilled in the use of ventilators, tracheostomy, G-tube, suctioning care, blood pressure monitoring, glucose checks and diabetic care and insulin administration. I take great delight in providing excellent patient care, including bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, as well as patient and family teaching in basic home care skills. In my practice, I strive to be compassionate, respectful, trustworthy, and reliable in dealing with patients and their families. I respect diversity in the workplace, and embrace other people's belief systems, religion, and values irrespective of my own individual beliefs and religious practice.
