About Ruby

I've had lots of experience caring for children both personally and professionally. At home, I help care for my 9-year-old sister and my two nieces, who are 4 and 1, so I'm very familiar with the needs of younger kids. Professionally, I worked at an after-school program with children ranging from kindergarten to 7th grade. My responsibilities included helping with snack time, supervising play, assisting with potty breaks, leading arts & crafts, helping with reading, creating activities and lesson plans, and making sure the kids stayed engaged and had fun in a safe environment. I enjoy working with kids, helping them learn and stay active, and making sure they feel cared for and supported.
