About Ruanne

Hi! My name is Ruanne. I completed my undergraduate coursework at UCLA and recently earned my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University! My related experience includes an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development coursework, and 85+ hours of fieldwork working with children ages 2-5. I have helped plan and lead educational activities that support fine and gross motor skills, self-regulation, cognitive growth, and social-emotional development. During my Level I Occupational Therapy Fieldwork in a school setting, I assisted pediatric clients with motor coordination, self-care, feeding, behavior, play, and social skills. I have also tutored elementary-aged children for 5 years and babysat children ages 3-15 for 3 years. I enjoy arts and crafts, board games, reading, cooking, baking, and creating fun, interactive learning experiences. I am a non-smoker and am happy to assist with meal preparation as well.
