About Roxanne

I volunteered in a nursing home for 5 years, caring for elderly. I saw them go from no hope to purpose for their life. Before my grandma passed in November of 2019, I helped care for her. She lived a long life dying at 99 years (1. 5 months short of 100). Seniors are often overlooked, when they should be treasured with purpose and love. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, empathic, generous, caring, honest, trustworthy, and dependable. I started caring for seniors when my grandma was getting older, being the only local family approx 20 years ago. In my spare time, I like to go hiking with my dog in forrest preserves, being in nature, and meeting new people. One thing you should know about me is I love all people, and believe that God has a purpose for everyone. I do my best to try to see that purpose and encourage others. Sometimes the greatest remedy is knowing that you are valued and loved.
