About Roxana

Hello, My name is Roxana and I am a second year graduate student pursuing a master's degree in Library and Information Science. My prior work history demonstrates a dedication to literacy services through public education and public librarianship. Specifically, I have taught literacy studies with an emphasis on TK-3rd Grade through roles such as Bilingual Reading Intervention Teacher, ELD Bilingual Para-Educator, and ELPAC Assessment Trainer. Furthermore, I have also provided equitable access to literacy resources through my work within the public library through literacy programming such as LENA (Early Literary Development), Summer Learning Challenge, and as now--as a school librarian.
