About Rowena

I'd describe my personality as a creative, dependable, and good listener. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping children learn and achieve beyond what they think they can do, helping them achieve confidence in their skills. I'm looking for a job that has open and clear communication, with both parties being on the same page. In my spare time, I like to draw, paint, play video games, read, play instruments, and exercise. One thing you should know about me is that I am always open to listening and hearing out a child's and family's needs, and adjusting how I approach a child's learning processes based on the specific child. My skills include being adaptable, resilient and patient. I'm a current college student studying economics. I have camp experience working with children ages 5 to 13 for 3 summers straight. I can also play the piano and violin, and have years of experience with different mediums of art such as painting, sketching, sculpting, etc.
