I have been working with Geriatrics for almost 23years. I have either worked through agencies or through direct employment in different places around California. I worked with both male and female patients in various ages with different Diagnosis namely: Alzheimers, Dementia, Diabetes , Parkinson's Disease, with Catheter and Colostomy care, Feeding Tube, Bedridden, Heavy Lifting (transferred to / from bed to chair and vice versa) . and even hospice care or even just a need for companion to mention a few. I have also handled doctor's visits/Managed medications, bathing, dressing, light house keeping and cooking ( I love to cook ). I have also managed patients that need to undergo range of motion, physical therapy and exercise programs for the disabled. I love this job because I grew up with my grandma and been living and taking care of her since I was a child. Thus, I am attached to seniors ( elderly ) and understand their attitudes , attend to their needs and anticipate their wants.

Rowena has done an incredible job caring for my mother who has terminal cancer. She truly deeply cares for people who have complex caretaking needs. Despite my mother being frail and a fall-risk, I could quickly see Rowena is an expert in gently helping my mother into the wheelchair which I was too afraid to do myself. As a result, Rowena was able to take my mom outside into the garden for the first time in a long time, and my mom loved it. I would highly recommend Rowena to anyone who needs a caring and kind caregiver to provide dignity and peace for those who are in their final days at home.
