About Rowan

I am an experienced caretaker with 4+ years of paid experience working with children ages 3-17, overnight, in Camp settings, at Church Nurseries, and in family settings. I am passionate about encouraging autonomy and building resilience in children, and I believe the best way to do this is by taking children seriously! They have have questions that deserve to be answered, ideas that are worthy of attention and conversation, and are capable of having age appropriate responsibilities and adventures. I love crafting, cooking, gardening, and animals, and I love to bring my experience growing up on a homesteader farm into my caretaking work. I am located in the asheville area!
