Maria worked for my family for 8 years, starting when my children were 3 and 6. I was recently widowed and worked full time, and Maria provided invaluable support, ensuring day to day order in our lives - transported children home or to activities after school, prepared dinner, kept our house tidy, did laundry, monitored homework - all with a cheerful and caring attitude. Maria is very reliable - arrives on time (and stays late, if necessary), rarely requires personal time off (other than vacation time, which we negotiated in advance). It was very painful to let Maria go when my children were old enough to manage on their own. She is a warm and engaging person, and very thoughtful, too - we considered her to be part of our family. We stay in touch and my daughter still goes on outings with Maria because they enjoy each other so much. I recommend Maria without reservation - as a caregiver of any kind, but especially for babies and young children.
